2nd Quarter 2026 Report

Highlights:

  • 3 men entered the Transition Program this quarter. We currently have 8 men in the program.  2 men coming next Qtr.
  •  3 baptized at Lawtey CI, 2 at Columbia CI.
  • Class on Acts continues at Marion CI – 15 attending.
  • Pando reaches 90,000 subscribers.
  • Court Appearance in Indianapolis, IN to speak at a sentencing hearing for a brother that was extradited from Lawtey at the end of his sentence there.  His plans are to participate in our transition program after release.

Summary of Activities:

Pando, Edovo

  • Over 6.5 million Views, over 90,000 Subscribers, over 150,000 Bible Courses completed.

Lawtey Correctional

  • Mentoring and Small Group Bible Study on Thursday night; conducted with other men from the Middleburg congregation. Inmate attendance is 20-30 with 5 mentors participating.  I am currently working with a group of about 10 men.  We are studying Bible questions as they arise.   
  • Worship Service on Sunday afternoon conducted with members from Middleburg and other congregations.  There is singing, praying, taking of the Lord’s Supper and Preaching/Teaching; I rotate preaching with other brothers; Christian inmates occasionally bring lessons and regularly participate in other parts of the service.  We have around 20 – 50 in attendance.
  • One on one Bible Study and Counseling every Friday.  Typically, between 5-7 individual studies each week.

Liberty CI

Marion CI

  • Tuesday morning class taught in the Faith Based Dorm.  About 15 men are attending.  We are studying the book of Acts.
  • One on one Bible Study and Counseling every Tuesday with about 9 men.
  • Re-Entry Dorm paused for the summer.

RMC West

  • Bible study each Wednesday night – between 20 and 50 in attendance. I teach one class per month.  Greg Whipple covers the other nights.

Spiritual Advisor Visits at Polk, Wakulla, Lancaster, Columbia, etc.

  • “Spiritual Advisor” Visits with members of the church and other men I have worked with at other institutions that are interested in the transition program or need encouragement.  

Transition House

  •  7 men are currently living at the transition houses.    
  • Sunday afternoon counseling with men in the program.
  • Monday night Bible class at transition house currently being taught by me.  We are currently studying Conflict Resolution.

Funding

  • Thank you to everyone who continue to give and support our efforts to teach Christ in the prisons and to mentor brothers after release.  Thank you for all your monetary gifts and donations of goods.  We are still seeking PANDO funding for the remainder of the year – $3,000 total.
